FlowerManager

LOGGING IN
  • Login to FlowerManager using your store’s generic login, which should be saved in Chrome.  This should be the only FlowerManager login required on each machine.

Opening & Closing Cash Drawer

OPENING THE DRAWER (start of the day)
  • After logging into FlowerManager using your store’s generic login, click ORDER ENTRY, then CASH DRAWERS from the sidebar menu.
  • Click the pencil next to your store and then click the OPEN CASH DRAWER button on the right.
  • In the window that launches, enter your starting currency including both your $60 in bills and whatever coin is in the drawer.
You SHOULD be able to do this quickly by clicking USE CLOSING COINS and USE CLOSING BILLS at the top to auto-populate with the counts from the previous close (which should be $60 in bills plus whatever change is in the drawer).  If this looks right, you're ready to move forward.  If this looks wrong or doesn't populate for some reason, you can count manually and enter the correct totals.
  • Once bills/coins are entered, click OPEN CASH DRAWER.
  • The drawer open is complete.

CLOSING THE DRAWER (end of the day)
  • On the FlowerManager sidebar menu, click ORDER ENTRY, then CASH DRAWERS from the sidebar menu.
  • Click the pencil next to your store and then click the CLOSE CASH DRAWER button on the right.
  • Carefully count all the currency in your drawer, including all bills and coins, entering the quantity of each in the appropriate box. The system will total the amounts automatically based on your entries.
    • Note 1: You should include all loose coin AND any coin in rolls if those rolls are in the drawer.  See the yellow box below for a helpful reminder of how many of each coin is in a roll.
    • Note 2 : this total SHOULD be equal to the EXPECTED CASH AMOUNT shown at the top; HOWEVER, it's very important that you enter the actual amount of what is in the drawer, even if it doesn't match the EXPECTED. Any difference (over or under) will be shown on the report.
  • In the BILL AMOUNT REMAINING FOR NEXT OPEN box type $60 (representing the $60 in bills that will remain for the next day).  You'll notice the BILL AMOUNT REMOVED FOR DROP box will now auto-calculate your drop amount (less the $60 being retained).
  • The COIN AMOUNT REMAINING FOR NEXT OPEN box should already be populated with the total from your count in the previous steps.  You don't need to edit this box, as ALL OF THE COIN will remain for the next open (none is ever included in the drop).
  • Once you've reviewed and are sure you've got it all right, click CLOSE CASH DRAWER to complete.
  • Click the small printer icon next to the drawer you just closed. Print the closing report/receipt and include it in the envelope with the day’s drop.
  • The drawer closing is complete.

REMEMBER TO Z-OUT RTI DAILY, EVEN IF YOU DIDN’T USE IT!
The number of coins in a roll varies by denomination:
  • Pennies: 50 pennies per roll, worth $0.50
  • Nickels: 40 nickels per roll, worth $2
  • Dimes: 50 dimes per roll, worth $5
  • Quarters: 40 quarters per roll, worth $10
  • Half dollars: 20 half dollars per roll, worth $10

Entering a Counter Order
Picture
There are three types of orders: DELIVERY, PICKUP, AND COUNTER
  • COUNTER is only for transactions happening in-store, in-person, where the customer is leaving with everything they purchase and no further action is required on our part.
  • DELIVERY/PICKUP should still be used for delivery/pickup orders, even if being placed in-person/in-store.

Counter Orders consist of three parts: CUSTOMER, PRODUCTS, and PAYMENT.
  • CUSTOMER
    • Computer terminals that have been set up as Counter Terminals default to using a generic customer profile because for many (if not most) walk-in transactions, the customer does not want or need to provide their full information. The ONLY reason to replace this is if the customer wants to EARN or USE their rewards points.
    • If you want to replace the generic customer, you’ll need to scroll back to the top and click “CLEAR” and then begin by either searching for an existing customer account or filling out the information to set up a new one.

  • PRODUCTS
    • You can use the FrontCounter products that automatically populate OR click IN-STORE / FRONT COUNTER PRODUCTS in the right sidebar to view them all in one page.
    • Add the appropriate products to build the cart, and review at the bottom of the page for accuracy before clicking the PAYMENT button.
  • PAYMENT
    • The two primary payment methods for Counter Orders are either CASH or CARD READER (for all credit card and phone tap payments). Though you may have the occasional HOUSE charge in-store.  Select the appropriate option.
    • If CARD READER, click COMPLETE YOUR ORDER to activate the reader.  It will beep and show the amount due, at which point the customer can tap or insert their payment.  “Almost Done” will show on your screen until payment is complete, at which point it will change to “Thank You.” (images below)
    • We no longer need signed receipts, and you do not have to print one.  However, ask the customer if they’d like a copy of their receipt.  If yes, click the VIEW YOUR RECEIPT button on the “Thank you.” page and then click PRINT RECEIPT on the page that loads.
